Mpigi District, Uganda
Samuel undertook a project for World Vision Uganda focused on biochar production using locally available resources in Mpigi District.


An experiment testing the potential of silicate rock as a remineraliser for tropical soils, undertaken by Samuel with sponsorship from Newcastle University, UK, and Agrimagined, UK.

Our mandate is to strengthen organisations and development programmes through research, practical advisory support, resource mobilisation and clear communication of results.

Samuel is an environmental scientist and researcher with experience in research design, data analysis, project management and community engagement. His work spans environmental sustainability, agriculture and natural resource management, bringing analytical rigour and practical insight to VIA’s research and advisory services.
He leads VIA with a focus on translating evidence into clear recommendations, supporting programme design and communicating findings through proposals and technical reports.
